Question: Where is Allah?Article:
57: 4 reads as:
It is He who created the heavens and the earth in six days and then He mounted the throne [of control]"
50: 16 reads as:
We created man and We [even] know the promptings of his mind. We are closer to him than his life vein
11:7 reads as:
It was Him Who made the heavens and the earth in six days, and [at that time] His throne [of control] was on the waters
32: 5 reads as:
He decides all affairs from the heavens to the earth; then these [affairs] go [back] up to Him in a day, the length of which is a thousand years of your reckoning.
70: 4 reads as:
The angels and the ruh ascend upto Him in a day the length of which is fifty thousand years
Comparing 57: 4 with 50: 16,:
Is the throne of Allah at your jugular vein? Allah is "everywhere" in the sense that there is no place that is without his presence. What about the throne? Days of God 1000 or 50000?
Answer: There is two different things one has to know:
1- God's authority: It extends to everywhere and he knows all our thoughts. Physically how this happens? we simply do not know.
2:255 Allah. There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His throne (authority) doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory).
2- The real throne: we do not know where it is but it exists and is carried/sustained by angels:
40:7 Those who sustain the throne (of Allah. and those around it Sing Glory and Praise to their Lord; believe in Him; and implore Forgiveness for those who believe: "Our Lord! Thy Reach is over all things, in Mercy and Knowledge. Forgive, then, those who turn in Repentance, and follow Thy Path; and preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire!
The throne was over the water at the time of creation as in verse 11:7. Regarding days of God we do not know if for him a day is 1000, 50000 or even more. Do we know where is his throne and if it moves. Do we know according to the theory of relativity of Einstein how this could fits with God days. We simply do not know. We have a lot of signs of the truth and scientific miracles of the Quran. For things are not given to us we do not dig in as a respect and fear of God.
