Quran From God Or Not: That Is The Question.

Shakespeare was wrong when he said in one of his novels: "To be or not to be" that is the question. The right question is: Quran from God or Not?. I could be born Muslim or non-Muslim. The question always comes: why you start by the Quran in understanding all religions. The answer is simple it is the last book alleged to be from God. The evidences are facts that no single letter had changed in The Quran. Thus reading the Quran with the right to be suspicious is the main door for discovering God, religions or debating them. You can hate some Muslims this is not against Islam. However the most important question for your life now and the afterlife is: Quran from God or not. As I regularly watch the Catholic channel I enjoy watching devout Christians with enlightened faces and good hearts. They have been reading and teaching the gospels and the pillars of their faith for long time. It is not easy but I would ask them to read the Quran as well go through my blog. If God is the one who is really talking to us in the Quran we are to listen to him and open our minds and hearts. Comparing Jesus and Muhammad should not be our task. Two great prophets with two different approaches to conduct the message of God. Muhammad is more like Moses. The question is simple though needs thorough examination: Is Quran From God Or Not?

Default In Islam.

In dictionaries Default is identified as: a situation or condition that obtains in the absence of active intervention. There are a lot of examples to this default in Islam:
1- A creator: since we did not prove that existence can come from not existence we have to believe there is a creator.
2- One creator: since the laws of cosmos do not contradict with one another or change over time there is no good evidence to support more than one creator. Spiritually, humans have the inborn desire to worship one God and to live with him and by him. This relationship even gets stronger than our relationship with our family members.
3- The spiritual feeling and experience is too strong that is we can not disprove it and do not have the means to disprove it. If someone decided to astry from God with his mind and soul it does not prove to us that there is no human spirituality.
4- Humans are by default entitled to inhabitat heaven if they would submit to God's messages. Active denial, arrogance and resisting are against the inner cry of their souls to find God and in their inheritance of God's spirit to be righteous.
5- God's wrath is the default before he send most of his messengers. The wickedness of humans commonly preceded the coming of his messengers. Same with the second coming of Jesus. Thus when God send warning before his wrath we have to respect that and read the book of revelation.
6- The default at the day of judgment is no intercession to the disbelievers (variable according to situation compare one who believes the Quran is right in his heart and deny it with a devout Christian who red the Quran several times and honestly found it difficult to believe it is from God, the second I would think will deserve God's intercession "God's know better"), for sinners there is intercession but no guarantees.

Why Jesus is not the Servant in Isaiah 53.

The translation of Isaiah 53 is quite different in many versions of Jewish and Christians Books. Though no one of us is as great as Jesus I can argue against that Isaiah 53 was talking about Jesus for the following reasons:
1- He was exalted since his birth. The servant in Isaiah 53 looks like unknown, unappreciated and had no followers until people came to know him. He is like he did not know what in hell is going on until God filled him with greif and pushed him out to find he is dealing with God's program.
2- Jesus did open his mouth and scolded the wicked. This servant until he came to us was submissive and did not open his mouth.
3- Jesus did not have any disease he was actually treating diseases.
4- Jesus did not have offspring.
5- He was not successful in his first coming but he will be in the second coming however it is more of stretch to make the verses to include the two comings.
6- Jesus had a great appearance. The verses are talking about no appearance until he came out.
7- Jesus according to Islam was not tried but God raised him before the wicked trial.
I am not a theologian but I do not believe the Servant is Jesus.

A bad Joke.

I think a remote relative, an old friend or a strange UFO called my cell phone company cellular one (cingular now) and cancelled my cell phone. It is like someone knocks in my door at 3 am to tell me happy birth day to you.

Very Nice Satan.

As you go through my blog you find out that it is scientifically, historically, linguistically, structurally, spiritually .... That Quran can be the invention of Muhammad (PBUH). It is beyond belief that your message is that of honesty and fear of God and you would lie against God. We are left with God versus the great deceiver Satan. Go through the Quran and my bolg and find out to yourself who is the author of the Quran. For me if Satan has inspired Muhammad (PBUH) with the Quran he would be a very nice Satan for the following reasons:
1- He would glorify God in big amount of verses.
2- He would teach us morality and the fear of God.
3- He would praise all the prophets and continue in their teachings.
4- He would ask us to do a lot of prayers and praise and have all our life lived by God and for God.
5- He would warn us bout evil and advise the good.
6- He would require all of us to be righteous and not only the religious elites.
7- He would not like us to have any partners and idols with God including our big egos.
8- He would insist on the ten commandments.
9- He would insist on charity.
10- He would warn us about usury.
11- He would warn us about Satan and hell.
You see if Satan had inspired Muhammad with Quran he would be a very nice Satan. He can come over my home for dinner in the week ends.

Examples of Prayers to God in Quran.

God mention in The Quran:
And when My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I respond to the dua (prayer) of every suppliant when they calleth on Me. [ Quran 2:186 ]
These are examples of these prayers:
Our Lord! Grant us good in this world and good in the life to come and keep us safe from the torment of the Fire (2:201)
Our Lord! Bestow on us endurance and make our foothold sure and give us help against those who reject faith. (2:250)
2:286 ----"Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error; our Lord! Lay not on us a burden Like that which Thou didst lay on those before us; Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins, and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. Thou art our Protector; Help us against those who stand against faith."
Our Lord! Let not our hearts deviate from the truth after selves, and unless You grant us forgiveness and bestow Your mercy upon us, we shall most certainly be lost! (7:23)
Our Lord! Place us not among the people who have been guilty of evildoing. (7:47)
Our Lord! Lay open the truth between us and our people, for You are the best of all to lay open the truth. (7:89)
Our Lord! Pour out on us patience and constancy, and make us die as those who have surrendered themselves unto You. (7:126)
Our Lord! Make us not a trial for the evildoing folk, and save as by Your mercy from people who deny the truth (10:85-86)
Our Lord! You truly know all that we may hide [in our hearts] as well as all that we bring into the open, for nothing whatever, be it on earth or in heaven, remains hidden
Our Lord! Bestow on us mercy from Your presence and dispose of our affairs for us in the right way. (18:10) & (59:10)
Our Lord! In You we have placed our trust, and to You do we turn in repentance, for unto You is the end of all journeys. (60:4)
Our Lord! Perfect our light for us and forgive us our sins, for verily You have power over all things. (66:8)

Submission (Muslims) Versus belief (Believers).

Faith is a confirmed belief. The mental part is submission and the one who submit is Muslim. The spiritual part is belief, the one who believes is a believer. In Quran God talk to us as believers mainly and we say about ourselves Muslims since God know our heart. Muslim means that you acquired the reasons that make you submit. It is a qualitative adjective while believing is quantitative. Verses 28:52 and 28:53 describes the Christians and Jews who converted to Islam they believed but they described themselves as Muslims as a humility to God.
28:52 Those to whom We sent the Book before this,- they do believe in this (revelation):
28:53 And when it is recited to them, they say: "We believe therein, for it is the Truth from our Lord: indeed we have been Muslims (bowing to Allah's Will) from before this.
The disciples of Jesus used the verb believe in verse 5:111 but described themselves as Muslims.
5:111 "And behold! I inspired the disciples to have faith in Me and Mine Messenger. they said, 'We have faith, and do thou bear witness that we bow to Allah as Muslims'".
The Israelites believed but they asked God to die as Muslims. Thus faith can go up and down but the baseline is submitting have to be maintained. That is why people need to strengthen their faith but try always to speak to God of their submission despite the hardship and the fluctuation of their faith.
7:126 "But thou dost wreak thy vengeance on us simply because we believed in the Signs of our Lord when they reached us! Our Lord! pour out on us patience and constancy, and take our souls unto thee as Muslims (who bow to thy will)!

Submission to God message since Adam is what God wants us to say. The first to submit are the prophets. Islam is the last submission. As believers we differ in the strength of our faith. To pray to God and praise him even at hard time prove your submission and strengthen your faith.

The Quran: Inspired By God Or Satan Or Made Up By Muhammad (PBUH)? Part 13.

Read these verses over and over and decide to yourself, Is these verses:
a- Inspired by God
b- Inspired by Satan.
c- Made up by Muhammad.
27:1 These are verses of the Qur'an,-a book that makes (things) clear;
27:2 A guide: and glad tidings for the believers,-
27:3 Those who establish regular prayers and give in regular charity, and also have (full) assurance of the hereafter.
27:4 As to those who believe not in the Hereafter, We have made their deeds pleasing in their eyes; and so they wander about in distraction.
27:5 Such are they for whom a grievous Penalty is (waiting); and in the Hereafter theirs will be the greatest loss.
27:6 As to thee, the Qur'an is bestowed upon thee from the presence of one who is wise and all-knowing.
27:7 Behold! Moses said to his family: "I perceive a fire; soon will I bring you from there some information, or I will bring you a burning brand to light our fuel, that ye may warn yourselves.
27:8 But when he came to the (fire), a voice was heard: "Blessed are those in the fire and those around: and glory to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
27:9 "O Moses! verily, I am Allah, the exalted in might, the wise!....
27:10 "Now do thou throw thy rod!" But when he saw it moving (of its own accord)as if it had been a snake, he turned back in retreat, and retraced not his steps: "O Moses!" (it was said), "Fear not: truly, in My presence, those called as apostles have no fear,
27:11 "But if any have done wrong and have thereafter substituted good to take the place of evil, truly, I am Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
27:12 "Now put thy hand into thy bosom, and it will come forth white without stain (or harm): (these are) among the nine Signs (thou wilt take) to Pharaoh and his people: for they are a people rebellious in transgression."
27:13 But when Our Signs came to them, that should have opened their eyes, they said: "This is sorcery manifest!"
27:14 And they rejected those Signs in iniquity and arrogance, though their souls were convinced thereof: so see what was the end of those who acted corruptly!

David In The Quran.

Here is some of the verses about David (Dawood) in the Quran:

As a military leader and king:
2:251 By Allah's will they routed them; and David slew Goliath; and Allah gave him power and wisdom and taught him whatever (else) He willed. And did not Allah Check one set of people by means of another, the earth would indeed be full of mischief: But Allah is full of bounty to all the worlds.

As a devout worshipper:
34:10 We bestowed Grace aforetime on david from ourselves: "O ye Mountains! Sing ye back the Praises of Allah with him! and ye birds (also)! And We made the iron soft for him;

As a Just leader:
38:26 O david! We did indeed make thee a vicegerent on earth: so judge thou between men in truth (and justice): Nor follow thou the lusts (of thy heart), for they will mislead thee from the Path of Allah. for those who wander astray from the Path of Allah, is a Penalty Grievous, for that they forget the Day of Account.

Jonah In The Quran.

Jonah (Youns) is a prophet sent by God to warn his people about the impending wrath of God. He decided to quit his job as we say in America. These are some of the verses that talk about Jonah:
37:139 So also was Jonah among those sent (by Us).
37:140 When he ran away (like a slave from captivity) to the ship (fully) laden,
37:141 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was condemned:
37:142 Then the big Fish did swallow him, and he had done acts worthy of blame.
37:143 Had it not been that he (repented and) glorified Allah,
37:144 He would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection.
37:145 But We cast him forth on the naked shore in a state of sickness,
37:146 And We caused to grow, over him, a spreading plant of the gourd kind.
37:147 And We sent him (on a mission) to a hundred thousand (men) or more.
37:148 And they believed; so We permitted them to enjoy (their life) for a while.
Verses from www.islamicity.com Translation to Yusuf Ali.

How Muslims Should Argue With The People Of The Book.

When we argue with the people of the book (Christians and Jews) and even with anyone about religion we should use this simple plan:
1- We argue in the best way. Our geopolitical anger should not have anything to do with discussing religions.
2- We could be born Muslims or non-Muslims. Changing belief is not easy. We should let them know that very well. Use the word God not Allah since it has the impression of a different God and not the same of Abraham.
3- That is why we should leave some doubt that we may be wrong as Muslims. We even try to let them help us what Muhammad could be. They will say something agree but tell them however the argument against that is that. Make it more about logistics and finding the truth than proving that you are right.
4- I would use the word Quran is the most accurate for scientific reasons. As Muslims we do not say the Bible is corrupt or has corruption but we can say scientifically and historically Quran is the most accurate.
5- We have to accept every bad thing they will say about Islam and the contradictions in Quran as potential facts until we can disprove that to them.
6- We try to get them the best answer and if we do not know refer them to the right people.
7- The most accurate interpretation of the Quran would be from God. By definition our even best interpretation should be understood to them and us to be less than 100% accurate in some verses.
5- We should resist the temptation of criticizing them or putting them down. We should carefully pick the sentences that make our point and meanwhile make them keep their dignity and pride.
6- We should know the difference between what God says in the Quran to the people of the book and what we should say to them. God does not do politics. It is our job as Muslims to do the politics.
7- Our desire to convert people to Islam does not stem from our desire for domination but for the love of Islam and their own good.
8- Guidance is from God. You would never convert anyone to Islam unless God wants to.
9- If they would not accept Islam and are not convinced we are to keep our obligations to them as our brothers in humanity provided they do the same.
10- Religiously and geopolitically we are not in war against anyone unless he proved with his actions that he is on war with us. Even for our worst enemies they can change to be our friends any time.

Why God Ordered Abraham To Sacrifice His Son.

37:99 He said (Abraham): "I will go to my Lord! He will surely guide me!
37:100 "O my Lord! Grant me a righteous (son)!"
37:101 So We gave him the good news of a boy ready to suffer and forbear.
37:102 Then, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if Allah so wills one practicing Patience and Constancy!"
37:103 So when they had both submitted their wills (to Allah., and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (for sacrifice),
37:104 We called out to him "O Abraham!
37:105 "Thou hast already fulfilled the vision!" - thus indeed do We reward those who do right.
37:106 For this was obviously a trial-
37:107 And We ransomed him with a momentous sacrifice:
37:108 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times:
37:109 "Peace and salutation to Abraham!"
In the above verses Abraham was ordered by God to sacrifice his son. In this story we learn many things about the Abrahamic religion:
1- How God put Abraham as a human in a very high place. He was like a close friend to him. His obedience to sacrifice his own son for God put him in this high place. Any one of us would likely try to get out of this tremendous test. He may allege the vision is from Satan. But Abraham would submit to God even for the son who he was eager to have at old age. He did not send an angel for the order of sacrifice to test Abraham more but when he sent him the animal sacrifice.
2- God do not want us to sacrifice humans for him as the pagans do but animals.
3- The animal sacrifice serve many religious functions: Gathering people for a religious feast. Mention God's name and praising his blessings to our father Abraham for his obedience and to us. Sharing food with families and feeding the poor. When we finish sacrifice we go on with our life like Abraham and be righteous and fearful of God. Thus humans can be as close to God as Abraham was and as far as his first enemy Satan is.

The Quran: Inspired By God Or Satan Or Made Up By Muhammad (PBUH)? Part 12.

Read these verses over and over and decide to yourself, Is these verses:
a- Inspired by God
b- Inspired by Satan.
c- Made up by Muhammad.
18:51 I called them not to witness the creation of the heavens and the earth, nor (even) their own creation: nor is it for Me to take as helpers such as lead (men) astray!
18:52 One Day He will say, "Call on those whom ye thought to be My partners," and they will call on them, but they will not listen to them; and We shall make for them a place of common perdition.
18:53 And the Sinful shall see the fire and apprehend that they have to fall therein: no means will they find to turn away therefrom.
18:54 We have explained in detail in this Qur'an, for the benefit of mankind, every kind of similitude: but man is, in most things, contentious.
18:55 And what is there to keep back men from believing, now that Guidance has come to them, nor from praying for forgiveness from their Lord, but that (they ask that) the ways of the ancients be repeated with them, or the Wrath be brought to them face to face?
18:56 We only send the apostles to give Glad Tidings and to give warnings: But the unbelievers dispute with vain argument, in order therewith to weaken the truth, and they treat My Signs as a jest, as also the fact that they are warned!
18:57 And who doth more wrong than one who is reminded of the Signs of his Lord, but turns away from them, forgetting the (deeds) which his hands have sent forth? Verily We have set veils over their hearts lest they should understand this, and over their ears, deafness, if thou callest them to guidance, even then will they never accept guidance.
18:58 But your Lord is Most forgiving, full of Mercy. If He were to call them (at once) to account for what they have earned, then surely He would have hastened their punishment, but they have their appointed time, beyond which they will find no refuge.

The Quran: Inspired By God Or Satan Or Made Up By Muhammad (PBUH)? Part 11.

Read these verses over and over and decide to yourself, Is these verses:
a- Inspired by God
b- Inspired by Satan.
c- Made up by Muhammad.
20:124 "But whosoever turns away from My Message, verily for him is a life narrowed down, and We shall raise him up blind on the Day of Judgment."
20:125 He will say: "O my Lord! why hast Thou raised me up blind, while I had sight (before)?"
20:126 ((Allah)) will say: "Thus didst Thou, when Our Signs came unto thee, disregard them: so wilt thou, this day, be disregarded."
20:127 And thus do We recompense him who transgresses beyond bounds and believes not in the Signs of his Lord: and the Penalty of the Hereafter is far more grievous and more enduring.
20:128 Is it not a warning to such men (to call to mind) how many generations before them We destroyed, in whose haunts they (now) move? Verily, in this are Signs for men endued with understanding.
20:129 Had it not been for a Word that went forth before from thy Lord, (their punishment) must necessarily have come; but there is a Term appointed (for respite).
20:130 Therefore be patient with what they say, and celebrate (constantly) the praises of thy Lord, before the rising of the sun, and before its setting; yea, celebrate them for part of the hours of the night, and at the sides of the day: that thou mayest have (spiritual) joy.
20:131 Nor strain thine eyes in longing for the things We have given for enjoyment to parties of them, the splendour of the life of this world, through which We test them: but the provision of thy Lord is better and more enduring.
20:132 Enjoin prayer on thy people, and be constant therein. We ask thee not to provide sustenance: We provide it for thee. But the (fruit of) the Hereafter is for righteousness.
20:133 They say: "Why does he not bring us a sign from his Lord?" Has not a Clear Sign come to them of all that was in the former Books of revelation?
20:134 And if We had inflicted on them a penalty before this, they would have said: "Our Lord! If only Thou hadst sent us an apostle, we should certainly have followed Thy Signs before we were humbled and put to shame."
20:135 Say: "Each one (of us) is waiting: wait ye, therefore, and soon shall ye know who it is that is on the straight and even way, and who it is that has received Guidance."

The Quran: Inspired By God Or Satan Or Made Up By Muhammad (PBUH)? Part 10.

Read these verses over and over and decide to yourself, Is these verses:a- Inspired by Godb- Inspired by Satan.c- Made up by Muhammad.3:2 Allah. There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-Subsisting, Eternal.
3:3 It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, the Book, confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this, as a guide to mankind, and He sent down the criterion (of judgment between right and wrong).
3:4 Then those who reject Faith in the Signs of Allah will suffer the severest penalty, and Allah is Exalted in Might, Lord of Retribution.
3:5 From Allah, verily nothing is hidden on earth or in the heavens.
3:6 He it is Who shapes you in the wombs as He pleases. There is no god but He, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
3:7 He it is Who has sent down to thee the Book: In it are verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning); they are the foundation of the Book: others are allegorical. But those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is allegorical, seeking discord, and searching for its hidden meanings, but no one knows its hidden meanings except Allah. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: "We believe in the Book; the whole of it is from our Lord:" and none will grasp the Message except men of understanding.

Why Jesus Is Not The Son Of God?

There is freedom of creed and all Muslims can do is to argue in the best way with Christians. Actually as his second coming is close (God knows better) we all need to be righteous to deserve his salvation. The reasons Why Jesus is not son of God is through revelations mainly. There is no guesses if we have revelations that we can trust. The last one and the most accurate is the Quran. To just say Satan is made it and not God and you find out in the day of judgment you were wrong you have very poor arguments. I rather make the right judgment now. I put down the answers from the revelation and the common sense:
1- In the first few verses of genesis you would find God talk about his son even before the creation.
2- He would make it clear to prophets Abraham and Moses that he has a son. Any one of us who has one son will do the same. To use sacrifice as a sign of his coming son is a big stretch.
3- As Rabbi David Wolpe suggests using my words: why a perfect God need a son and a holy spirit to perfect himself.
4- I quote Rabbi Eliezer Gevirtz The Torah makes it clear that there is only one omnipotent, indivisible G-d: "The L-rd He is G-d; there is none else besides him" (Deuteronomy 4:35)."
5- Jesus himself said: 'Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, G-d." (Matthew 19:17).
6- Why Jesus did not change the first commandments so he can be worshiped with God.
7- When Jesus was alive he was not worshiped by the Christians at that time and there is no verse that he orders them to worship him that I can recall.
8- No one is atoned for another one from both the old testament and Quran.
9- Though Christianity teaches love and compassion not all Christians do them. Many Muslims also carry Islamic names and they are far from Islam. The God of Old testament and Quran is the same powerful and glorious God. I do not expect him if he has a son he will leave him to be slant. I would expect more that he would send this prophet to triumph at the end of time and make his kingdom in the earth. Christianity was a unique message from God that teaches love and forgiveness. Unfortunately, it did not work even Christians fought each other for thousands of years. It will work when Jesus comes back.
10- For God to have a son we will be asking ourselves was the initial mother (Goddess) which is blasphemous.
11- When God sent 560 years later a revelation to Muhammad (PBUH) it was very clear that his message is for all the world when even Muslims were counted in the fingers of hands. He strongly refuted that Jesus is his son. If Satan would inspire the Quran he may even put down in Jesus (anti-Christ) or change the teachings which are in great part the same like Christianity.
12- The ideas above are from the Quran and Bible. You can come even with more if you look deeply. Check also in my blog Who is Jesus?.
Muslims are not interested to persecute Christians or anyone, it is basically against their religion. What they would like to have is a dignified coexistence.

82:2 When the Stars are scattered;
82:3 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth;
82:4 And when the Graves are turned upside down;
82:5 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back.
82:6 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?-
82:7 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias;
82:8 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together.
82:9 Day! nit ye do reject Right and Judgment!
82:10 But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you,
82:11 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds):
82:12 They know (and understand) all that ye do.
82:13 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss;
82:14 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire,
82:15 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment,
82:16 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom.
82:17 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? Wama adraka ma yawmu addeeni
82:18 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is?
82:19 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah.

41:30 In the case of those who say, "Our Lord is Allah., and, further, stand straight and steadfast, the angels descend on them (from time to time): "Fear ye not!" (they suggest), "Nor grieve! but receive the Glad Tidings of the Garden (of Bliss), the which ye were promised!
41:31 "We are your protectors in this life and in the Hereafter: therein shall ye have all that your souls shall desire; therein shall ye have all that ye ask for!
41:32 "A hospitable gift from one Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful!"
41:33 Who is better in speech than one who calls (men) to Allah, works righteousness, and says, "I am of those who bow in Islam"?
41:34 Nor can goodness and Evil be equal. Repel (Evil) with what is better: Then will he between whom and thee was hatred become as it were thy friend and intimate!
41:35 And no one will be granted such goodness except those who exercise patience and self-restraint,- none but persons of the greatest good fortune.

79:27 What! Are ye the more difficult to create or the heaven (above)? ((Allah)) hath constructed it:
79:28 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection.
79:29 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light).
79:30 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse);
79:31 He draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture;
79:32 And the mountains hath He firmly fixed;-
79:33 For use and convenience to you and your cattle.
79:34 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),-
79:35 The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for,
79:36 And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see,-
79:37 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds,
79:38 And had preferred the life of this world,
79:39 The Abode will be Hell-Fire;
79:40 And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires,
79:41 Their abode will be the Garden.
79:42 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time?
79:43 Wherein art thou (concerned) with the declaration thereof?
79:44 With thy Lord in the Limit fixed therefor.
79:45 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it.
79:46 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn!

14:46 Mighty indeed were the plots which they made, but their plots were (well) within the sight of Allah, even though they were such as to shake the hills!
14:47 Never think that Allah would fail his apostles in His promise: for Allah is Exalted in power, - the Lord of Retribution.
14:48 One day the earth will be changed to a different earth, and so will be the heavens, and (men) will be marshalled forth, before Allah, the One, the Irresistible;
14:49 And thou wilt see the sinners that day bound together in fetters;-
14:50 Their garments of liquid pitch, and their faces covered with Fire;
14:51 That Allah may requite each soul according to its deserts; and verily Allah is swift in calling to account.
14:52 Here is a Message for mankind: Let them take warning therefrom, and let them know that He is (no other than) One Allah. let men of understanding take heed.

Why Creed Is Important.

Faith (creed) is the gate to religion. It is very important for all humans to have a confirmed belief of religion before they practice their religion. More important to find out what is the faith that is true at this juncture of history. It is normal to have lower faith when you have stresses or injustices in your life. This does not mean your are faithless. It means you reconcile your faith and know that tough times happen and are test from God. Without faith it is just stupid to practice religion. For these reasons I consider faith is extremely important:
1- If there is a God and the bible and Quran are right we are gambling our eternity if we take faith lightly or we do not consider it.
2- It will be stupid for someone to pray all these times, fast, fear God for every thing and give to charity if there is no God.
3- There is huge difference if our life in earth is our final destination or there is afterlife. I rather know now.
4- We do not have a good case in the day of judgment. I did not see anyone can show me the proof there is no God. There is no strong reasons not to believe in the prophets.
5- People at the time of Noah were making fun of him. Pharaoh and the Egyptians until they drowned were arrogantly arguing against God. If there are intelligent people who deny God there are in the other side those intelligent people who are strongly and scientifically believe in God.
6- The case for God is strong and compelling. His straight path is good for all of us. Sometimes he interferes in history with all his power. That is why we have to understand God. It appears from the end of time prophecies he will succeed to attain his righteousness we like it or not.
7- If I am sure there is no God I would not even bother to make this blog.

76:24 Therefore be patient with constancy to the Command of thy Lord, and hearken not to the sinner or the ingrate among them.
76:25 And celebrate the name or thy Lord morning and evening,
76:26 And part of the night, prostrate thyself to Him; and glorify Him a long night through.
76:27 As to these, they love the fleeting life, and put away behind them a Day (that will be) hard.
76:28 It is We Who created them, and We have made their joints strong; but, when We will, We can substitute the like of them by a complete change.
76:29 This is an admonition: Whosoever will, let him take a (straight) Path to his Lord.
76:30 But ye will not, except as Allah wills; for Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom.
76:31 He will admit to His Mercy whom He will; But the wrong-doers,- for them has He prepared a grievous Penalty.

The Quran: Inspired By God Or Satan Or Made Up By Muhammad (PBUH)? Part 4.

Read these verses over and over and decide to yourself, Is these verses:
a- Inspired by God
b- Inspired by Satan.
c- Made up by Muhammad.
21:26 And they say: "((Allah)) Most Gracious has begotten offspring." Glory to Him! they are (but) servants raised to honour.
21:27 They speak not before He speaks, and they act (in all things) by His Command.
21:28 He knows what is before them, and what is behind them, and they offer no intercession except for those who are acceptable, and they stand in awe and reverence of His (Glory).
21:29 If any of them should say, "I am a god besides Him", such a one We should reward with Hell: thus do We reward those who do wrong.
21:30 Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?
21:31 And We have set on the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with them, and We have made therein broad highways (between mountains) for them to pass through: that they may receive Guidance.
21:32 And We have made the heavens as a canopy well guarded: yet do they turn away from the Signs which these things (point to)!
21:33 It is He Who created the Night and the Day, and the sun and the moon: all (the celestial bodies) swim along, each in its rounded course.
21:34 We granted not to any man before thee permanent life (here): if then thou shouldst die, would they live permanently?
21:35 Every soul shall have a taste of death: and We test you by evil and by good by way of trial. to Us must ye return.

The Quran: Inspired By God Or Satan Or Made Up By Muhammad (PBUH)? Part 3.

Read these verses over and over and decide to yourself, Is these verses:
a- Inspired by God b- Inspired by Satan.c- Made up by Muhammad.
19:88 They say: "((Allah)) Most Gracious has begotten a son!"
19:89 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous!
19:90 At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin,
19:91 That they should invoke a son for ((Allah)) Most Gracious.
19:92 For it is not consonant with the majesty of ((Allah)) Most Gracious that He should beget a son.
19:93 Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to ((Allah)) Most Gracious as a servant.
19:94 He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly.
19:95 And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment.
19:96 On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will ((Allah)) Most Gracious bestow love.
19:97 So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention.
19:98 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them?
If you noticed there is no politics who will be very angry if is not God in these verses. He is the same God of the old testament who gets angry most for sharing any one with him. Look at the universe and think how great his power and glory that he would not accept any partners.

The Quran: Inspired By God Or Satan Or Made Up By Muhammad (PBUH)? Part 2.

Read these verses over and over and decide to yourself, Is these verses: a- Inspired by God
b- Inspired by Satan.
c- Made up by Muhammad.
23:23 We sent Noah to his people: He said, "O my people! worship Allah. Ye have no other god but Him. Will ye not fear (Him)?"
23:24 The chiefs of the Unbelievers among his people said: "He is no more than a man like yourselves: his wish is to assert his superiority over you: if Allah had wished (to send messengers), He could have sent down angels; never did we hear such a thing (as he says), among our ancestors of old."
23:25 (And some said): "He is only a man possessed: wait (and have patience) with him for a time
23:26 (Noah) said: "O my Lord! help me: for that they accuse me of falsehood!"
23:27 So We inspired him (with this message): "Construct the Ark within Our sight and under Our guidance: then when comes Our Command, and the fountains of the earth gush forth, take thou on board pairs of every species, male and female, and thy family- except those of them against whom the Word has already gone forth: And address Me not in favour of the wrong-doers; for they shall be drowned (in the Flood).
23:28 And when thou hast embarked on the Ark - thou and those with thee,- say: "Praise be to Allah, Who has saved us from the people who do wrong."
23:29 And say: "O my Lord! enable me to disembark with thy blessing: for Thou art the Best to enable (us) to disembark."
23:30 Verily in this there are Signs (for men to understand); (thus) do We try (men).

Contradictions In Quran: Was Jonah Cast On The Desert Shore Or Was He Not?

Question: Was Jonah cast on the desert shore or was he not?
Sura 37 reads in verse 145:
"Then We cast him on the desert plain and he was sick"
The well known Muslim translators render this verse:
Pickthall:
"Then We cast him on a desert shore while he was sick"
Yusufali:
"But We cast him forth on the naked shore in a state of sickness"
Shakir:
"Then We cast him on to the vacant surface of the earth while he was sick"
Contrary to that, Sura 68 ("al-") has in verse 49:
"If not had reached him a favor from his Lord, he surely would have been cast on the desert plain and he would have been reprobate."
or according to
Pickthall:
"Had it not been that favor from his Lord had reached him he surely had been cast into the wilderness while he was reprobate."
Yusufali:
"Had not Grace from his Lord reached him, he would indeed have been cast off on the naked shore, in disgrace."
Shakir:
"Were it not that favor from his Lord had overtaken him, he would certainly have been cast down upon the naked Found while he was blamed."
Though the translations differ in style and in some minor points, all duly agree that in verse 37:145 Jonah (Yunus) is reported to have actually been cast on the desert shore. In contradiction to this, they again duly agree that in verse 68:49 Jonah is reported not to have been cast on the desert shore, because this fate only would have hit him if the divine grace hadn't pardoned him.
Answer: There is no contradictions in fact both stress the same facts. In both verses he was casted in the desert shore. In 68:49 given God grace he was not casted in disgrace. Verse 37:145 explain why not in disgrace: because God cared about him and covered him with the plant when he was sick.
68:49 Had not Grace from his Lord reached him, he would indeed have been cast off on the naked shore, in disgrace.
37:145 But We cast him forth on the naked shore in a state of sickness,
37:146 And We caused to grow, over him, a spreading plant of the gourd kind.

Why true Muslims Are The Best For People To Govern.

When you go to many Muslim countries now you find a lot of Muslims but no Islam. I met one day a British woman who became a Muslim. Listen to this, when I asked her how she became Muslim. She said "I lived in one Arab country and I was wondering why Muslim conditions are inferior. I red the Quran and I ended up to be a Muslim.
Why good Muslims are the best to govern:
1- People who fear God all times do not need much laws. Their kindness and honesty will make their interactions just and smooth.
2- No injustice from them to other minorities.
3- No social problems of alcoholism, drug addiction, dysfunctional families, gangs and violence.
4- They will comply well with the system of government since many are the same as the morality of their religion: keeping clean streets, avoiding noise, taking care of the poor beside the government, do their work with sincerity....
5- Islam is against upraise except in significant oppression and injustice.
6- Democracy in Islam allows the mainstream moderates to flourish.
7- They will not impose their laws on other communities.
8- Morality is infectious, so they likely to spread morality to other communities.
Simply politicians will not have much headache with this community. In fact coexistence with Muslims should be quite attractive.

The Rights Of Children In Islam.

By Sheikh Al-Uthaymeen
Let us first establish that children in accordance with the Islamic concept means both male and female. Some Islamic opponents accuse Islam of differentiating between male and female children claiming that Islam prefers boys over girls in terms of inheritance, 'Aqeeqa (slaughter of two lambs upon the birth of a male baby, and one lamb only for a baby girl) and other matters. In accordance with the true Islamic teaching, both male and female are alike in the sight of Allah, the Almighty. Each, however, is physically prepared and equipped to perform certain tasks and duties that are suitable to his/her nature. All, again are equal in religious duties, except for certain exceptions that are defined and illustrated by Allah, the Almighty, in the Glorious Quran, or declared and specified by Allah’s Apostle, PBUH. Only these differences are to be acknowledged and honored and only in accordance with Islam and its teachings.
Children, according to Islam, are entitled to various rights. The first and foremost of these rights is the right to be properly brought up, raised and educated. This means that children should be given suitable, sufficient, sound and adequate religious, ethical and moral guidance to last them for their entire lives. They should be engraved with true values, the meaning of right and wrong, true and false, correct and incorrect, appropriate and inappropriate and so forth and so on. Allah, the Almighty stated in the Glorious Qur’an:
"O ye who believe! Save yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is Men and Stones." (66:6)
Allah’s Apostle, PBUH also said: "Every one of you (people) is a shepherd. And every one is responsible for whatever falls under his responsibility. A man is like a shepherd of his own family, and he is responsible for them." This Hadith is reported by both Bukhari and Muslim.
Children, therefore are a trust given to the parents. Parents will be responsible for this trust on the Day of Judgement. Parents are essentially responsible for the moral, ethical and the basic and essential religious teachings of their children.
If parents fulfill this responsibility, they will be free of the consequences on the Day of Judgement. The children will become better citizens and a pleasure to the eyes of their parents, first in this life, and in the hereafter.
Allah, the Almighty stated in the Glorious Quran:
"And those who believe and whose families follow them in Faith, to them shall We join their families: Nor shall We deprive them (of the fruit) of aught of their works: (Yet) is each individual in pledge for his deeds." (52:21)
Moreover, Allah's Apostle, PBUH said: "Upon death, man's deeds will (definitely) stop except for three deeds, namely: a continuous charitable fund, endowment or goodwill; knowledge left for people to benefit from; and pious righteous and God-fearing child who continuously prays Allah, the Almighty, for the soul of his parents." This Hadith is reported by Muslim.
In fact, such a statement reflects the value of the proper upbringing of children. It has an everlasting effect, even after death.
Unfortunately, many parents from every walk of life, in every society, regardless of creed, origin, social and economical status, etc., have neglected this very important imposed right of their own children on them. Such individuals have indeed lost their children as a result of their own negligence. Such parents are so careless about the time their children spend with no benefit, the friends they associate with, the places they go to, etc. Such parents do not care, are totally indifferent about where their children go, when they come back and so forth and so on, causing the children to grow up without any responsible adult and without caring supervision. Such parents neglect even to instruct, direct or guide their children to the proper way of life, behaviour or even right attitudes towards others. Yet, you may find these parents are so careful about guarding their wealth. They are extremely concerned about their businesses, work and otherwise. They exert every possible effort to lead a very successful life in terms of materialistic gains, although all this wealth is not actually theirs. No one will take wealth to the grave.
Children are not only to be well-fed, well-groomed, properly dressed for the weather and for appearance, well-taken care of in terms of housing and utilities. It is more important to offer the child comparable care in terms of educational, religious training, and spiritual guidance. The heart of a child must be filled with faith. A child’s mind must be entertained with proper guidance, knowledge and wisdom. Clothes, food, housing, schooling are not, by any means, an indication of proper care of the child. Proper education and guidance is far more important to a child than this food, grooming and appearance.
One of the due rights of children upon their parents is their spending for their welfare and well-being moderately. Over-spending or negligence is not condoned, accepted or even tolerated in Islam. Such ways will have a negative effect on the child regardless of the social status. Men are urged not to be miserly to their children and households, who are their natural heirs in every religion and society. Why would one be miserly to those who are going to inherit his wealth? Children are entitled to such an important right. They are even permitted to take moderately from their parent's wealth to sustain themselves if the parent declines to give them proper funds for their living.
Children also have the right to be treated equally in terms of financial gifts. No one should be preferred over the others. All must be treated fairly and equally. None should be deprived his gift from the parents. Depriving, or banning the right of inheritance, or other financial gifts during the lifetime of the parents or the preference of a parent for one child over the other is considered according to Islam as an act of injustice. Injustice will definitely lead to an atmosphere of hatred, anger and dismay amongst the children in a household. In fact, such an act of injustice may, most likely, lead to animosity amongst the children, and consequently, this will affect the entire family environment. In certain cases a special child may show a tender care for his aging parent, for instance, causing the parent to grant such a child a special gift, or issue him the ownership of a house, a factory, a land, a farm, a car, or any other valuable items. Islam, however considers such a financial reward to such a caring, loving and perhaps obedient child, a wrong act. A caring child is entitled only to a reward from Allah, the Almighty. Although it is nice to grant such a child something in appreciation for his dedication and special efforts, this must not lead to an act of disobedience to Allah, the Almighty. It may be that the heart and feelings of such a loving and caring child may change, at one point in time, causing him to become a nasty and harmful child. By the same token, a nasty child may change, at any given time, as well, to become a very caring and kind child to the same parent. The hearts and feelings are, as we all know, in the hands of Allah, the Almighty, and can be turned in any direction at any given time and without any previous notice. This, indeed, is one of the reasons for preventing the act of financial preference of a child over another. On the other hand, there is also no assurance or guarantee that a caring child can handle the financial gift of his parent wisely.
It is narrated by Abu Bakr, RAA, who said that Allah's Apostle, PBUH, was approached by one of his companions, al-N'uman bin Basheer, who said: "O Prophet of Allah! I have granted a servant to one of my children (asking him to testify to that gift)." But Allah's PBUH asked him: "Did you grant the same to each and every child of yours?" When Allah's Apostle, PBUH was informed negatively about that, he said: "Fear Allah, the Almighty, and be fair and just to all your children. Seek the testimony of another person, other than me. I will not testify to an act of injustice." This Hadith is reported by both Bukhari and Muslim. Thus, Allah's Apostle, PBUH called such an act of preference of one child over the others an act of "injustice." Injustice is prohibited and forbidden in Islam.
But, if a parent granted one of his children financial help to fulfill a necessity, such as a medical treatment coverage, the cost of a marriage, the cost of initializing a business, etc., then such a grant would not be categorized an act of injustice and unfairness. Such a gift will fall under the right to spend in the essential needs of the children, which is a requirement that a parent must fulfill.
Islam sees that if parents fulfill their duties towards all their children in terms of providing them with necessary training, educational backing, moral, ethical and religious education, this will definitely lead to a more caring child, a better family atmosphere and a better social environment and awareness. On the other hand, any negligence in those parental duties can lead to the loss of a child or ill treatment of the parents at a later age.

Miracles In The Quran: The Layers Of The Earth.

One item of information about the Earth given in the Qur'an is its similarity to the seven-layered sky:
It is Allah Who created the seven heavens and of the earth the same number, the Command descending down through all of them, so that you might know that Allah has power over all things and that Allah encompasses all things in His knowledge. (Qur'an, 65:12)
The information in the above verse is confirmed in scientific sources, wherein it is explained that the Earth consists of seven strata. These, as scientists have identified, are:
1st layer: Lithosphere (water)
2nd layer: Lithosphere (land)
3rd layer: Asthenosphere
4th layer: Upper Mantle
5th layer: Inner Mantle
6th layer: Outer Core
7th layer: Inner Core
The word lithosphere is derived from the Greek word lithos, meaning stone, which is a hard stratum forming the Earth's top layer. It is quite thin in comparison to the other strata. The lithosphere under the oceans is still thinner, and is a region with volcanic activity. Its average thickness is 80 km. It is colder and harder than the other strata, and therefore, forms the earth's shell.
Below the lithosphere is the stratum known as the asthenosphere, from the Greek word for "weak," asthenes. This layer is thinner than the lithosphere and shifts. It was formed of hot, semi-solid substances capable of melting when exposed to high temperatures and pressure over geological time. It is thought that the hard lithosphere floats or moves over the slowly moving asthenosphere.23 Under these layers is a high-temperature layer some 2,900 km thick, made up of semi-solid rock known as the mantle. This contains more iron, magnesium and calcium than the crust, and is also hotter and denser, because temperature and density in the Earth increase with depth.
At the centre of the Earth is the core, approximately twice as dense as the mantle. The reason for that density is that it contains a higher proportion of metals (iron-nickel alloy) than rock. The Earth's core consists of two parts. One is the 2,200 km thick liquid outer core, the other a 1,250 km thick solid inner core. The liquid outer core provides the Earth's magnetic field as the planet rotates.
The truth of this similarity between the sky and the layers of the Earth, only identified by 20th century technology, is without doubt another of the Qur'an's scientific miracles.

Thinking The Theory Of probability.

When I look back at Taman Health Plan that I made I wonder what is the probability of not being inspired by God:
1- When I made it I was only thinking about the complicated and disorganized health care of America. Then after I did it I found out it takes care all of the Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security besides health care. As well the unpredictable pensions to the American People. 2- It can be considered if implemented the major policy of America over 41 years.
3- What the odds that a single person will do this plan when people struggled for 90 years with the complicated health delivery system in America.
4- How one person would do what two big parties democrats and republics failed to do over centuries.
5- How a single person would outsmart all these politicians, economists and the brilliant Clintons.
6- What the odds of this person being a physician (not an economist).
7- He also makes a medicolegal law and he is not a lawyer.
8- What the odds he would be Arab/Muslim after 09/11.
9- What the odds he would do this plan when he was discriminated against in the same time after 09/11.
I would love to be very brilliant but this is far more than me. It is just too much of a coincidence. The odds of each factor 1-9 alone is very low. When you multiply them 1x2x3x4x5x6x7x8x9 will give you even very very low probabilty. The same like the coincidence of being having no appearance (like he hid his face from us). I am not saying anything I am just speaking my mind.

40:3 Who forgiveth sin, accepteth repentance, is strict in punishment, and hath a long reach (in all things). there is no god but He: to Him is the final goal.
40:4 None can dispute about the Signs of Allah but the Unbelievers. Let not, then, their strutting about through the land deceive thee!
40:5 But (there were people) before them, who denied (the Signs),- the People of Noah, and the Confederates (of Evil) after them; and every People plotted against their prophet, to seize him, and disputed by means of vanities, therewith to condemn the Truth; but it was I that seized them! and how (terrible) was My Requital!
40:6 Thus was the Decree of thy Lord proved true against the Unbelievers; that truly they are Companions of the Fire!
40:7 Those who sustain the Throne (of Allah. and those around it Sing Glory and Praise to their Lord; believe in Him; and implore Forgiveness for those who believe: "Our Lord! Thy Reach is over all things, in Mercy and Knowledge. Forgive, then, those who turn in Repentance, and follow Thy Path; and preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire!
40:8 "And grant, our Lord! that they enter the Gardens of Eternity, which Thou hast promised to them, and to the righteous among their fathers, their wives, and their posterity! For Thou art (He), the Exalted in Might, Full of Wisdom.
40:9 "And preserve them from (all) ills; and any whom Thou dost preserve from ills that Day,- on them wilt Thou have bestowed Mercy indeed: and that will be truly (for them) the highest Achievement".
40:10 The Unbelievers will be addressed: "Greater was the aversion of Allah to you than (is) your aversion to yourselves, seeing that ye were called to the Faith and ye used to refuse."

Decide to yourself, and be very fair eternity is not a walk on the beach. Think about your own soul. If all people go to heaven or all go to hell at that day you will care only about your own soul.
80:34 That Day (the day of judgment) shall a man flee from his own brother,
80:35 And from his mother and his father,
80:36 And from his wife and his children.
80:37 Each one of them, that Day, will have enough concern (of his own) to make him indifferent to the others.

Miracles Of Quran: Rains Which Bring A Dead Land Back To Life.

The rain's function of "bringing a dead land back to life" is indicated in several verses of the Qur'an:
… We send down from heaven pure water so that by it We can bring a dead land to life and give drink to many of the animals and people We created. (Qur'an, 25:48-49)
As well as bringing water, an essential requirement for living things, to the earth, the rain also has a fertilising property. Drops of rain which evaporate from the sea and reach the clouds contain certain substances which "revitalise" dead soil. These raindrops with such "revitalising" properties are called "surface tension droplets." These form from the top layer of the surface of the sea, called the micro-layer by biologists; in this surface layer, less than one-tenth of a millimetre thick, are found large quantities of organic waste formed from the decomposition of microscopic algae and zooplanktons. Some of these wastes collect and absorb elements such as phosphorus, magnesium and potassium, which are rarely found in sea water, as well as heavy metals such as copper, zinc, cobalt and lead. Seeds and plants on the surface of the earth receive large quantities of the mineral salts and elements they need to grow from these raindrops. The Qur'an refers to this in these terms:
And We sent down blessed water from the sky and made gardens grow by it and grain for harvesting. (Qur'an, 50:9)
These salts which descend with the rain are examples in miniature of fertilisers traditionally used to enhance productivity (calcium, magnesium, potassium etc.). Heavy metals of the kind found in aerosols create elements which increase productivity during growth and production of plants. In short, rain is an important fertiliser. With the fertiliser which provided by rain alone, within a hundred years, a soil of poor quality can obtain all the elements necessary for plants. Forests also grow and are nourished with help from these chemicals which originate from the sea.
In this way, every year some 150 million tons of particles of fertiliser fall to earth. Were it not for this fertilising function, there would have been far fewer plants on the Earth and the balance of life would have been disturbed. The information about the revitalisation of plants in the verse is just one of the countless miraculous properties of the Qur'an.

Contradictions In Quran: Does God Forgive Shirk (partnership)?

Question: Does Allah forgive shirk?
Allah does NOT forgive shirk:
Allah forgiveth not that partners should be set up with Him; but He forgiveth anything else, to whom He pleaseth; to set up partners with Allah is to devise a sin most heinous indeed. -- Sura 4:48
Allah forgiveth not (The sin of) joining other gods with Him; but He forgiveth whom He pleaseth other sins than this: one who joins other gods with Allah, Hath strayed far, far away (from the right). -- Sura 4:116
Allah forgives shirk (even in the same sura):
... Yet they [the Israelites] worshipped the calf even after Clear Signs had come to them; even so We forgave them; and gave Moses manifest proofs of authority. -- Sura 4:153
Answer: God forgives shirk if one repents only before death. Like Israelites who worshipped the calf then they repented and God forgave them. Partnership with Jesus has special approach as in my blog Contradictions In The Quran: Will All Jews And Christians Go To Hell? For people who worship God and die before they repent from their sins he forgive whom he pleases. So there is hope but no guarantee.

Contradictions In The Quran: To Intercede Or Not To intercede? This Is The Question?

Question: To Intercede or Not To Intercede? That is the Question!
The Quran has much to say about intercession on the Day of Judgment. In fact, the Quran says contradictory things regarding intercession as the following passages show.
1. There Will Be No Intercession
O children of Israel! call to mind My favor which I bestowed on you and that I made you excel the nations. And be on your guard against a day when ONE SOUL shall not avail ANOTHER in the least, neither shall intercession on its behalf be accepted, nor shall any compensation be taken from it, nor shall they be helped. S. 2:47-48
O children of Israel, call to mind My favor which I bestowed on you and that I made you excel the nations. And be on your guard against a day when NO SOUL shall avail ANOTHER in the least neither shall any compensation be accepted from it, nor shall intercession profit it, nor shall they be helped. S. 2:122-123
These two passages make it clear that intercession will not avail ANY person, not just the Israelites, since the references to "NO SOUL" and "ONE SOUL" not availing another naturally includes every human being.
O you who believe! spend out of what We have given you before the day comes in which there is no bargaining, neither any friendship nor intercession, and the unbelievers - they are the unjust. S. 2:254
"Not your desires, nor those of the people of the Book (can prevail): Whosoever works evil, will be requited accordingly. Nor will he find, besides God, any protector or helper. If any do deeds of righteousness, - Be they male or female - and have faith, they will enter Heaven, and not the least injustice will be done to them" S. 4:123-124
And warn with it those who fear that they shall be gathered to their Lord - there is no guardian for them, nor any intercessor besides Him - that they may guard (against evil). S. 6:51
2. There Will Be Intercession
The next set of passages contradict the preceding passages regarding the permissibility of intercession:
Allah! There is no god but He,- the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory). S. 2:255
Verily your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the throne (of authority), regulating and governing all things. No intercessor (can plead with Him) except after His leave (hath been obtained). This is Allah your Lord; Him therefore serve ye: will ye not receive admonition? S. 10:3
On the day when We shall gather the righteous unto the Beneficent, a goodly company. And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, They will have no power of intercession, save him who hath made a covenant with his Lord. S. 19:85-87
On that Day shall no intercession avail except for those for whom permission has been granted by (Allah) Most Gracious and whose word is acceptable to Him. S. 20:109
Answer: Simple with no God permission no soul will have intercession to itself. Thus the default is no intercession if God would not allow it. There is no will of a single soul or anyone to interced unless he permits. God is just he wants us to earn our eternity. Thus for non-believers and evil-doers there is fear of no intercession so they would fear God and rethink the Quran many times. For believers there is intercession but nothing guaranteed. We should have hope but we do the most God wants from us (worshipping him alone and avoiding major sins).
Example of No intercession of one soul:
2:122 O Children of Israel! call to mind the special favor which I bestowed upon you, and that I preferred you to all others (for My Message).
2:123 Then guard yourselves against a-Day when one soul shall not avail another, nor shall compensation be accepted from her nor shall intercession profit her nor shall anyone be helped (from outside).
Example of intercession of God:
2:255 Allah. There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His throne (authority) doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory).

Some Basic Islamic Beliefs.

1) Belief in God:
Muslims believe in one, unique, incomparable God, Who has no son nor partner, and that none has the right to be worshipped but Him alone. He is the true God, and every other deity is false. He has the most magnificent names and sublime perfect attributes. No one shares His divinity, nor His attributes. In the Quran, God describes Himself:
Say, “He is God, the One. God, to Whom the creatures turn for their needs. He begets not, nor was He begotten, and there is none like Him.” (Quran, 112:1-4)
Chapter 112 of the Quran written in Arabic calligraphy.
No one has the right to be invoked, supplicated, prayed to, or shown any act of worship, but God alone.
God alone is the Almighty, the Creator, the Sovereign, and the Sustainer of everything in the whole universe. He manages all affairs. He stands in need of none of His creatures, and all His creatures depend on Him for all that they need. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing, and the All-Knowing. In a perfect manner, His knowledge encompasses all things, the open and the secret, and the public and the private. He knows what has happened, what will happen, and how it will happen. No affair occurs in the whole world except by His will. Whatever He wills is, and whatever He does not will is not and will never be. His will is above the will of all the creatures. He has power over all things, and He is able to do everything. He is the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and the Most Beneficent. In one of the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad , we are told that God is more merciful to His creatures than a mother to her child.1 God is far removed from injustice and tyranny. He is All-Wise in all of His actions and decrees. If someone wants something from God, he or she can ask God directly without asking anyone else to intercede with God for him or her.
2) Belief in the Angels:
Muslims believe in the existence of the angels and that they are honored creatures. The angels worship God alone, obey Him, and act only by His command. Among the angels is Gabriel, who brought down the Quran to Muhammad .
3) Belief in God’s Revealed Books:
Muslims believe that God revealed books to His messengers as proof for mankind and as guidance for them. Among these books is the Quran, which God revealed to the Prophet Muhammad . God has guaranteed the Quran’s protection from any corruption or distortion. God has said:
Indeed, We have sent down the Quran, and surely We will guard it (from corruption). (Quran, 15:9)
4) Belief in the Prophets and Messengers of God:
Muslims believe in the prophets and messengers of God, starting with Adam, including Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, and Jesus (peace be upon them). But God’s final message to man, a reconfirmation of the eternal message, was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad . Muslims believe that Muhammad is the last prophet sent by God, as God has said:
Muhammad is not the father of any one of your men, but he is the Messenger of God and the last of the prophets... (Quran, 33:40)
Muslims believe that all the prophets and messengers were created human beings who had none of the divine qualities of God.
5) Belief in the Day of Judgment:
Muslims believe in the Day of Judgment (the Day of Resurrection) when all people will be resurrected for God’s judgment according to their beliefs and deeds.
6) Belief in Al-Qadar:
Muslims believe in Al-Qadar, which is Divine Predestination, but this belief in Divine Predestination does not mean that human beings do not have freewill. Rather, Muslims believe that God has given human beings freewill. This means that they can choose right or wrong and that they are responsible for their choices.
The belief in Divine Predestination includes belief in four things: 1) God knows everything. He knows what has happened and what will happen. 2) God has recorded all that has happened and all that will happen. 3) Whatever God wills to happen happens, and whatever He wills not to happen does not happen. 4) God is the Creator of everything.

The Simple Life Of Muhammad.

If we compare the life of Muhammad before his mission as a prophet and his life after he began his mission as a prophet, we will conclude that it is beyond reason to think that Muhammad was a false prophet, who claimed prophethood to attain material gains, greatness, glory, or power.
Before his mission as a prophet, Muhammad had no financial worries. As a successful and reputed merchant, Muhammad drew a satisfactory and comfortable income. After his mission as a prophet and because of it, he became worse off materially. To clarify this more, let us browse the following sayings on his life:
n Aa’isha, Muhammad’s wife, said, “O my nephew, we would sight three new moons in two months without lighting a fire (to cook a meal) in the Prophet’s houses.” Her nephew asked, “O Aunt, what sustained you?” She said, “The two black things, dates and water, but the Prophet had some Ansar neighbors who had milk-giving she-camels and they used to send the Prophet some of its milk.”1
n Sahl Ibn Sa’ad, one of Muhammad’s companions, said, “The Prophet of God did not see bread made from fine flour from the time God sent him (as a prophet) until he died.”2
n Aa’isha, Muhammad’s wife, said, “The mattress of the Prophet , on which he slept, was made of leather stuffed with the fiber of the date-palm tree.”3
n Amr Ibn Al-Hareth, one of Muhammad’s companions, said that when the Prophet died, he left neither money nor anything else except his white riding mule, his arms, and a piece of land which he left to charity.4
Muhammad lived this hard life till he died although the Muslim treasury was at his disposal, the greater part of the Arabian Peninsula was Muslim before he died, and the Muslims were victorious after eighteen years of his mission.
Is it possible that Muhammad might have claimed prophethood in order to attain status, greatness, and power? The desire to enjoy status and power is usually associated with good food, fancy clothing, monumental palaces, colorful guards, and indisputable authority. Do any of these indicators apply to Muhammad ? A few glimpses of his life that may help answer this question follow.
Despite his responsibilities as a prophet, a teacher, a statesman, and a judge, Muhammad used to milk his goat,5 mend his clothes, repair his shoes,6 help with the household work,7 and visit poor people when they got sick.8 He also helped his companions in digging a trench by moving sand with them.9 His life was an amazing model of simplicity and humbleness.
Muhammad’s followers loved him, respected him, and trusted him to an amazing extent. Yet he continued to emphasize that deification should be directed to God and not to him personally. Anas, one of Muhammad’s companions, said that there was no person whom they loved more than the Prophet Muhammad , yet when he came to them, they did not stand up for him because he hated their standing up for him,10 as other people do with their great people.
Long before there was any prospect of success for Islam and at the outset of a long and painful era of torture, suffering, and persecution of Muhammad and his followers, he received an interesting offer. An envoy of the pagan leaders, Otba, came to him saying, “...If you want money, we will collect enough money for you so that you will be the richest one of us. If you want leadership, we will take you as our leader and never decide on any matter without your approval. If you want a kingdom, we will crown you king over us...” Only one concession was required from Muhammad in return for that, to give up calling people to Islam and worshipping God alone without any partner. Wouldn’t this offer be tempting to one pursuing worldly benefit? Was Muhammad hesitant when the offer was made? Did he turn it down as a bargaining strategy leaving the door open for a better offer? The following was his answer: {In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful} And he recited to Otba the verses of the Quran 41:1-38.11 The Following are some of these verses:
A revelation from (God), the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful; a Book whereof the verses are explained in detail; a Quran in Arabic, for people who know, giving good news and warning, yet most of them turn away, so they do not listen. (Quran, 41:2-4)
On another occasion and in response to his uncle’s plea to stop calling people to Islam, Muhammad’s answer was as decisive and sincere: {I swear by the name of God, O Uncle!, that if they place the sun in my right-hand and the moon in my left-hand in return for giving up this matter (calling people to Islam), I will never desist until either God makes it triumph or I perish defending it.}12
Muhammad and his few followers did not only suffer from persecution for thirteen years but the unbelievers even tried to kill Muhammad several times. On one occasion they attempted to kill him by dropping a large boulder, which could barely be lifted, on his head.13 Another time they tried to kill him by poisoning his food.14 What could justify such a life of suffering and sacrifice even after he was fully triumphant over his adversaries? What could explain the humbleness and nobility which he demonstrated in his most glorious moments when he insisted that success is due only to God’s help and not to his own genius? Are these the characteristics of a power-hungry or a self-centered man?

Miracles in Quran: Human Embryonic Development.

Before you read this topic (best red from www.islam-guide.com to see photograph) I advise you to go to figure 6. It describes a stage mentioned in a verse of Quran as the mudghah stage. The Arabic word mudghah means chewed substance. If one were to take a piece of gum and chew it in his or her mouth and then compare it with an embryo at the mudghah stage, we would conclude that the embryo at the mudghah stage acquires the appearance of a chewed substance. This is because of the somites at the back of the embryo that somewhat resemble teethmarks in a chewed. When I saw this figure in my first year of medical school in a tough subject called embryology I was astonished to this early figure of humans. The thing astonished me thousand times more, how Muhammad (PBUH) would describe literally the appearance of human at this stage 1400 years ago. When this was only available last century.
In the Holy Quran, God speaks about the stages of manÂ’s embryonic development:
We created man from an extract of clay. Then We made him as a drop in a place of settlement, firmly fixed. Then We made the drop into an alaqah (leech, suspended thing, and blood clot), then We made the alaqah into a mudghah (chewed substance)... 1 (Quran, 23:12-14)
Literally, the Arabic word alaqah has three meanings: (1) leech, (2) suspended thing, and (3) blood clot.
In comparing a leech to an embryo in the alaqah stage, we find similarity between the two2 as we can see in figure 1. Also, the embryo at this stage obtains nourishment from the blood of the mother, similar to the leech, which feeds on the blood of others.3
Figure 1: Drawings illustrating the similarities in appearance between a leech and a human embryo at the alaqah stage. (Leech drawing from Human Development as Described in the Quran and Sunnah, Moore and others, p. 37, modified from Integrated Principles of Zoology, Hickman and others. Embryo drawing from The Developing Human, Moore and Persaud, 5th ed., p. 73.)
The second meaning of the word alaqah is “suspended thing.” This is what we can see in figures 2 and 3, the suspension of the embryo, during the alaqah stage, in the womb of the mother.
Figure 2: We can see in this diagram the suspension of an embryo during the alaqah stage in the womb (uterus) of the mother. (The Developing Human, Moore and Persaud, 5th ed., p. 66.) (Click on the image to enlarge it.)

Figure 3: In this photomicrograph, we can see the suspension of an embryo (marked B) during the alaqah stage (about 15 days old) in the womb of the mother. The actual size of the embryo is about 0.6 mm. (The Developing Human, Moore, 3rd ed., p. 66, from Histology, Leeson and Leeson.)
The third meaning of the word alaqah is “blood clot.” We find that the external appearance of the embryo and its sacs during the alaqah stage is similar to that of a blood clot. This is due to the presence of relatively large amounts of blood present in the embryo during this stage4 (see figure 4). Also during this stage, the blood in the embryo does not circulate until the end of the third week.5 Thus, the embryo at this stage is like a clot of blood.
Figure 4: Diagram of the primitive cardiovascular system in an embryo during the alaqah stage. The external appearance of the embryo and its sacs is similar to that of a blood clot, due to the presence of relatively large amounts of blood present in the embryo. (The Developing Human, Moore, 5th ed., p. 65.) (Click on the image to enlarge it.)

So the three meanings of the word alaqah correspond accurately to the descriptions of the embryo at the alaqah stage.
The next stage mentioned in the verse is the mudghah stage. The Arabic word mudghah means “chewed substance.” If one were to take a piece of gum and chew it in his or her mouth and then compare it with an embryo at the mudghah stage, we would conclude that the embryo at the mudghah stage acquires the appearance of a chewed substance. This is because of the somites at the back of the embryo that “somewhat resemble teethmarks in a chewed substance.”6 (see figures 5 and 6).
Figure 5: Photograph of an embryo at the mudghah stage (28 days old). The embryo at this stage acquires the appearance of a chewed substance, because the somites at the back of the embryo somewhat resemble teeth marks in a chewed substance. The actual size of the embryo is 4 mm. (The Developing Human, Moore and Persaud, 5th ed., p. 82, from Professor Hideo Nishimura, Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan.)

Figure 6: When comparing the appearance of an embryo at the mudghah stage with a piece of gum that has been chewed, we find similarity between the two.A) Drawing of an embryo at the mudghah stage. We can see here the somites at the back of the embryo that look like teeth marks. (The Developing Human, Moore and Persaud, 5th ed., p. 79.)B) Photograph of a piece of gum that has been chewed.(Click on the image to enlarge it.)

How could Muhammad have possibly known all this 1400 years ago, when scientists have only recently discovered this using advanced equipment and powerful microscopes which did not exist at that time? Hamm and Leeuwenhoek were the first scientists to observe human sperm cells (spermatozoa) using an improved microscope in 1677 (more than 1000 years after Muhammad ). They mistakenly thought that the sperm cell contained a miniature preformed human being that grew when it was deposited in the female genital tract.7
Professor Emeritus Keith L. Moore8 is one of the worldÂ’s most prominent scientists in the fields of anatomy and embryology and is the author of the book entitled The Developing Human, which has been translated into eight languages. This book is a scientific reference work and was chosen by a special committee in the United States as the best book authored by one person. Dr. Keith Moore is Professor Emeritus of Anatomy and Cell Biology at the University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada. There, he was Associate Dean of Basic Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine and for 8 years was the Chairman of the Department of Anatomy. In 1984, he received the most distinguished award presented in the field of anatomy in Canada, the J.C.B. Grant Award from the Canadian Association of Anatomists. He has directed many international associations, such as the Canadian and American Association of Anatomists and the Council of the Union of Biological Sciences.
In 1981, during the Seventh Medical Conference in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, Professor Moore said: “It has been a great pleasure for me to help clarify statements in the Quran about human development. It is clear to me that these statements must have come to Muhammad from God, because almost all of this knowledge was not discovered until many centuries later. This proves to me that Muhammad must have been a messenger of God.”9 (To view the RealPlayer video of this comment click here ).
Consequently, Professor Moore was asked the following question: “Does this mean that you believe that the Quran is the word of God?” He replied: “I find no difficulty in accepting this.”10
During one conference, Professor Moore stated: “....Because the staging of human embryos is complex, owing to the continuous process of change during development, it is proposed that a new system of classification could be developed using the terms mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah (what Muhammad said, did, or approved of). The proposed system is simple, comprehensive, and conforms with present embryological knowledge. The intensive studies of the Quran and hadeeth (reliably transmitted reports by the Prophet Muhammad’s companions of what he said, did, or approved of) in the last four years have revealed a system for classifying human embryos that is amazing since it was recorded in the seventh century A.D. Although Aristotle, the founder of the science of embryology, realized that chick embryos developed in stages from his studies of hen’s eggs in the fourth century B.C., he did not give any details about these stages. As far as it is known from the history of embryology, little was known about the staging and classification of human embryos until the twentieth century. For this reason, the descriptions of the human embryo in the Quran cannot be based on scientific knowledge in the seventh century. The only reasonable conclusion is: these descriptions were revealed to Muhammad from God. He could not have known such details because he was an illiterate man with absolutely no scientific training.”11 (View the RealPlayer video of this comment ).
