Muhammad (PBUH) talked to the Muslims in his last pilgrim "This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion." al-Qur'an 5:3
why this is very true:
1- By that time he had almost all Quran and hadith finished.
2- All the Sharia laws have been put forward and practiced.
3- Muslims have control of their holy place in Mecca.
4- Muslims had a control of Arabia.
5- Muslims oppression and persecution were ended.
God kept his promise to his messenger. About 12 years prior to that Muslims were oppressed and persecuted in Mecca. At that time Muslims would not think that in 12 years they will prevail and the Arabia would be converted to Islam.
Muslims are looking today to the same promise of God. Many left the oppression and injustices in their mother lands in Muslim countries and travelled to the west. They have the same ambition to see the justice and equality of Islam prevail in the world. They are moving in the right direction by spreading their religion and uniting under one banner "Islam". They are recruiting a lot of people from various religions and non-religions.
The Muslims at time of the prophet forgot about their personal ambitions and suffered to protect their faith and spread their religion. The day will come when Islam will prevail again and Muslims will see God promise realized and the righteous will inherit the earth. At that time we will remember the prophet words declaring the perfection of the Islam religion. At that day the earth will choose Islam the religion of truth as its religion. At that day peace and justice will fill the earth. A sajda (prostration) to God will be more liked by a Muslim than the earth and what it contains.
